Billboard peaked at 8 This side of the album has definitely grown on me and I have always liked "Gimmewhutchagot" and the "We Can Freek It" remix with Noreaga. Kurupt and Noreaga had beef prior with the "New York, New York", "LA, LA" track, so it was good to see this track happen. "The Life" features content that was removed from a Warren G album track that was not cleared by Death Row.
