Mookie Williams - Hidden Passion 3 Beards

I was excited when I got passed along this album for review. I was introduced to Mookie Williams soulful sounds during the S.O.T.I tour. This album is primarily an instrumental album consisting of a few tracks containing vocals as well as a few remixes. I enjoyed the album as a whole from the album artwork including a mix of photography and hand-drawn artwork. The album consists of 15 tracks including a few interludes and two remixes from the Chill $quad. This is a good album for anyone that is into instrumentals, jazz or just wants to spend some time Chillin'. High points for the album for me are "The Sidewalk", "Half Breed Hybrid", and "Tormented Soul." Low points for me for the album is that it sometimes comes across as a beat tape than an instrumental album, with a ffew of the tracks kind of running together sounding similar to me. This is definitely worth checking out and would recommend a purchase to anyone that is into Jazz or Instrumentals.
